If it were all that easy, everyone would be doing it! Recently, I sat back and reflected on where I am in life now. I’m a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, sousin (those are my sister cousins), a partner in a construction company (thank you daddy), owner of a real estate firm in Illinois and Indiana, owner of a consulting firm that specializes in operations management, sitting on the board of a non-profit, along with the certification program I was tossed into and taking a class with my client to help launch her signature school. Not to mention, my children are in activities now. I’ll admit, I do a lot! (Thank you sweet baby Jesus for my team!!) But I was built for this. I’m the woman for the job! (Thank you Sarah Jakes-Roberts).
I showed up for the challenge of reaching my fullest potential and living out my purpose. Sure… I could’ve taken the easy road and got a corporate job after college and worked there until I retired, but that wasn’t God’s plan for my life.
Easy LOOKS good and gives you this temporary satisfaction of FEELING good, but the day you wake up and realize the world needs you, your talents, your smile, your example… you’ll jump right in too! You’ll crave it. You’ll be fulfilled.
If it were all that easy… well, it’s not! Come on girl! Live out your purpose and live your life out loud!
