You know those seasons where you reach the end of your rope? You've done all you could. You've said all you could say. You've smiled as much as you could. You have nothing left.
I go through those from time to time... It's the recovery process I'm still working to master. Does it also take you a while to recover?
One thing I have learned (shout out to my therapist) is to stay within my window of tolerance. Don't push so far that you start to lose control. Ok ok, so take it easy eh? Give yourself some grace huh? This could work!
If you've reached the end of your rope, don't give up! It's not as bad as it seems. There's someone with a little more on their plate than you with a little more misfortune than you so you're already ahead!
It's time to regroup and reset. Start off with some self-care. Take some time for YOU. Journaling will also help you to gather your thoughts to set you up for recovery.
